Financial burdens can be overwhelming, especially when they come as a result of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.  The Hope Chest for Women relies heavily on donations and contributions to have monies available for applicants who have demonstrated economic necessity as a direct result of their cancer treatment costs.

Donations to the Hope Chest have been as small as $5.00 and as large as $10,000.00.  We are thankful for each and every contribution because it comes from a generous heart.   Donations may be made as one-time gifts, or on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Please call to subscribe to a recurring contribution.

Volunteer
It would be impossible to accomplish the activities we present throughout the year without our valued volunteers.  Our volunteers are:

• cancer survivors giving back
• families whose lives are touched by cancer
• friends who have experienced loss
• persons who have empathy for those going through a difficult time
• associates who have caught our passion for helping others

Volunteers are needed to update brochures, manuals, newsletters, and flyers.  Assistance is required before, during, and after major fundraisers and other activities.  If you are interested in sharing your time and talent, call director Kathy Haney at (828) 418-1344 or email khaney@hopewcc.com.
